ROCKVILLE’S BLACK OWNED SALON GIVES BACK IN A MAJOR WAY
Therapeutique Salon and Spa’s in-house community outreach organization, Black Girls Rockville is on a mission to provide therapeutic experiences to those in need while donating essentials like clothing, shoes, hygiene items, educational tools, and monetary gifts. Our main goal is to touch the lives of the less fortunate and those in transitional periods in their lives. Driven to build and connect the Black Community in Rockville, we strive to curate events that not only help those in need in the community but also bridge cultural and racial gaps. Led by owner and master stylist Lacy Fields, Black Girls Rockville is affecting the lives of hundreds in Montgomery County and throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.
Black Girl’s Rockville hosts multifaceted events annually that feature a nutritious breakfast, haircuts for men, women, and children, job opportunities, and traditional housing information. Each year, Salon Owner Lacy Fields looks forward to blessing their crowns and filling their core.
